Account, shipment and recipient details all have a role in making labels work. Below, we explain what is involved and how to contact us about your information.
Who this policy covers
This policy describes personal information handled through Shiparro’s public website and shipping-label workspace. The public pages contain illustrative interface examples; using those examples does not create a shipment or submit information to the shipping service.
When you use an authenticated account, create labels, connect a store, import orders, or contact us, different information is involved as described below.
Information involved in the service
Depending on what you do, Shiparro handles:
- Account details: name, email address, authentication information, verification details, and profile or business information you provide.
- Shipment details: sender and recipient names, addresses and contact details; package weight, dimensions and contents information; selected services, purchased labels, and tracking or cancellation records.
- Connected-service data: order and customer details imported through a store connection or API, along with connection permissions and credentials needed to operate that connection.
- Payment and support records: wallet balance and transaction history, payment status, support requests, and messages you send us.
- Technical data: session, device, usage and diagnostic information generated as you use the site or workspace.
Where information comes from
Information can come directly from you, another user who prepares a shipment for you, a store or system you connect, a carrier or label provider returning rates and tracking updates, a payment service involved in a transaction, or your browser and device. If you import or submit another person’s details, make sure you have the authority to do so and share only what is needed for shipping.
How information is used
Shiparro uses information to create and manage accounts; verify access; retrieve rates; prepare, purchase and display shipping labels; import orders; show tracking and wallet activity; respond to support requests; maintain the service; investigate errors or misuse; and meet applicable legal obligations. Shipment details are needed to request rates, produce labels, and pass the information required for carriage.
Browser storage, sessions and diagnostics
The authenticated workspace uses a session cookie for server sessions and browser storage for login state, account and interface preferences. A “remember me” choice affects whether the authentication token is held in persistent browser storage or session storage. Clearing browser data or signing out can remove locally stored session information.
Application monitoring can receive diagnostic events when configured. The application includes filtering intended to remove credentials, payment numbers and similar sensitive fields from those events; diagnostic and operational records can still contain technical information about an error.
Security and retention
Shiparro uses account access controls and other technical measures to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security. Records are kept for operational needs, support, accounting, dispute handling and applicable legal requirements; the period depends on the type of record. Contact us if you need information about a particular record or want to request a correction or deletion.
Your choices and requests
You can update available account and profile details in the workspace, manage connected services there, choose whether to remember your login, and sign out. To ask about information associated with you, or request access, correction or deletion, email info@shiparro.com. We may need to verify a request and retain information where required or permitted by applicable law. Available rights depend on your location and circumstances.
Policy updates
We may revise this policy as the service changes. The date at the top identifies this document version. If a change materially affects how information is handled, we will provide notice where applicable law requires it.
